To all who’d figured we’d skipped the radar and done a bump (and rightly so), this is but a half truth at best.

UKURBANCULTURE had an amazing first year, working on a wide variety of projects, building some great relationships and connecting many talented people who still continue to work together.

But alas, the recession set in, jobs were lost and sadly UKURBANCULTURE had to take a step back from being the pro-active organisation it strives to be.

Now as sad as this temporary road block was (and believe us, nobody was more crushed than we were that JAMFEST 09 had to be cancelled), it did give us a chance to look back and re-focus the company.

2010 will see the birth of our web portal and the re-launch of our annual JAMFEST festival. Plans for the festival are well underway including funding applications and sponsorship talks. We are hopeful for positive results and with that to honour all agreements made with artists.

UKURBANCULTURE would like to thank everybody for your support in the past and hope that you will continue to join us in the urban movement.
